She loves pieces with classic silhouettes but loves mixing the old with the new. She loves buying high end clothes that she can mix with older pieces in her already growing wardrobe. She loves clothes specifically that have a historical feel to them and can make her feel like she stepped out of a modern fantasy book.

“Golden Love” is set that is inspired by the fairy tale Rapunzel written by the Grimm Brothers in 1812.

The top is a cotton corset with a purple striped textile design on it with solid purple boning channels. on the side of the corset is pearl detailing as sleeves.

The skirt is a pale yellow tiered and draped skirt. In both the front and back there are two drawstring channels that allows for the length to be adjusted. The waistband and the channels along with the ribbon inside are the matching light purple.

“The Red Hood” is inspired by Charles Perrault’s story “Le Petit Chaperon Rouge” or Little Red Ridding Hood, written in 1697.

The dress is a cream medieval inspired mini dress with a bubble skirt hem starting at the hips. It has an off the shoulder ruffled neckline. The sleeves stop above the elbow with a forest green band before starting again split in the middle and flared.

The corset that goes over is Forest green with the striped textile pattern and solid green boning channels. The corset front laces keeping a gap in the middle to see the dress underneath.

The outfit finishes off with a red cropped cape with a large hood.

“One of Three” is inspired by the story “The Three Musketeers” by Alexandre Dumas written in 1844.

It is a red and black mini dress with a sweetheart neckline with a sheer turtleneck attached with a scalloped edge. The sleeves are bubbled with matching red bands along the sleeve. The skirt of the dress is a simple black circle skirt.

“Pixie Dreams” is a two piece set inspired by Tinkerbell from the series of novels surrounding the character Peter Pan created by J.M. Barrie in 1902.

The top is a two layered high to low type of mini dress that has a corset like structure that snaps in the front. It has an off the shoulder neckline with two layers of white ruffles. on the back is a large green double bow with an ornate textile pattern to mimic fairy wings.

The shorts are layered ruffled bloomers made to be soft and comfortable while still being dainty and fairy like.

“Into the Story is a dress not inspired by just one fairytale, rather many of them. Throughout my research and years of love of fairytales I found many female characters wear blue dresses such as Cinderella, Wendy from Peter Pan, and Alice from Alice in Wonderland. I felt that this dress would be a great nod to these characters.

The dress is a mini dress with an empire waistline with a pleated skirt. Fabric on the inner pleats are a dark blue where the outer fabric has an ornate textile design on it. The sleeves are short and puffed with bows on the end arm band.
